This is me trying to get the fish out of the bucket.  I’ve been trying for about five minutes!  I kept catching his tail but then it kept slipping out of my hands!  It is harder than you think!

  1. YEA MILLIE!!! Well done! Now we have two fisher people on Team Trismic.
Did you eat the fish or put it back? It sounds like Nathan is a pretty good teacher and fishing guide and I already know you are a very fast learner. You two can now try to teach Capt. Dad how to do it.😄

  2. Wow!! Congratulations, Millie, that is great that you caught your first fish. I know exactly what you mean about shaking because you were so excited. I did the same thing when I caught my first fish, with my dad, when I was about your age. What I like most about your post is that you typed it yourself. It is very special to hear from you in your own words. The photos are lovely as well, with the gorgeous sea, and your beautiful hair against the water. Thanks to Nathan for helping you out. They should make fishing gloves in smaller sizes! Keep on writing. Lots of love to you all,
    Auntie Ali xoxo

  4. How wonderful Millie! Your fishing story is so thrilling and is brought to life by your excitement, shaking and beautiful pictures. Maybe Nathan has converted you to a full-fledged fisher girl! Nathan is a good teacher as he has learned from the best, showing you all the necessary techniques. Looking at the results, you are a really good student! You will remember catching your first fish for a long time to come. I agree with Auntie Ali, now that you are a fisher girl, perhaps you will find smaller gloves soon. Congratulations dear Millie!! I look forward to more of your exciting stories. Lots of love, Nana xo
